“Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children.”

~Charles R. Swindoll, The Strong Family
Do your children sometimes puzzle you? Do you wonder what makes them tick? Do you wish that you could understand them better? You can! There is a tried-and-true method for understanding your children. Through understanding their inner wiring, (their temperament) you can know what drives your child. You can gain insight into why they behave –or misbehave– the way they do and how to most effectively change their behaviors. Even better, you can become their guide to helping them discover their true identity and their inborn strengths. This is the key to parenting them positively.

What Past Participants are Saying about Private Parent Coaching:

  • “When we first met with Carrie our two kids were fighting all the time and we were at a loss of what to do because nothing seemed to help. She had us do a temperament test on each member of the family. Once she had a feel for the dynamics of our family she gave us specific tools we could apply to different situations that came up. They have helped tremendously! The kids still fight but not nearly as much and we are able to teach them to deal with each other in a respectful manner when they are upset with each other. Thanks Carrie for giving us a much more peaceful and respectful home!

    – Beth

  • “We are making an effort to focus on positive behaviors, and while we don’t ignore the bad behaviors, we are not focusing on them. We’ve noticed a real difference, already, in how our son is responding to disappointment. He’s talking more and internalizing less. I believe this is because we are trying to boost his self-esteem (by rewarding him when he completes his chores, etc.) and by telling him every day that we love him and believe in him.”

    – Suzanne

  • “Thank you for all the insights into what makes our son who he is. I never imagined that after only a few sessions things would be getting so much better.”

    – Melissa
